Symphony Consulting Group has been providing program management, technical engineering, and support services to Government clients since 2002.

The Symphony Project Managers assigned to programs have achieved certification as a PMI® Project Management Professional (PMP). While each client has unique requirements, our project management methodology focuses on the basic principles:

  • Initiating – A project or phase should begin with a clear understanding of objectives and requirements
  • Planning – Devises and maintains a workable approach to accomplish the business need that the project was undertaken to address
  • Executing – Coordinates people and resources to carry out the plan
  • Controlling – Ensures that project objectives are met by monitoring and measuring progress and taking corrective action when necessary
  • Closing – Formalizes acceptance of the project and lessons learned presented

Integrating the project life cycles with PMI processes ensures that the project is done correctly – with conformance to requirements, specifications, and fitness of use.
